It isn’t often that I recommend a movie to people. After all, in my opinion, most movies aren’t good. Yet, I’m still paying 10 bucks to go see them every week, go figure.

Anyway, Run Fat Boy Run is a perfect movie for any of the following people to see:

  • Men who ever dated someone that you just could decide if she was the right one
  • Women who ever dated the guy who just couldn’t decide if you were the right one

The above includes just about everyone in the world, but here are more people who should go see Run Fat Boy Run:

  • Dead beat/loser fathers – So you can see what it takes to win your family back
  • Co-parents of the dead beat/loser father – So you can see what someone who is really committed to your family does to win you back
  • People who like to laugh… A LOT!!!
  • People who like to cry… a little
  • People who like to watch movies with real life scenarios that aren’t overacted

I really enjoyed this film. I was laughing throughout, save a couple of times when tears welled up in my eyes. It is a superb film and well worth the money at the theater. And don’t forget to take the woman that you haven’t been able to make your mind up about for the last five years either! That adds value to the experience of this film 😀

It certainly wasn’t my strongest race ever. In fact, the 0.4 mile swim nearly killed me. But the Los Angeles Triathlon was a tremendous accomplishment this weekend. Thanks to Accenture, I’m able to watch a video of my pasty ass cross the finish line. That’s the way to finish the race. Be sure to checkout my lil bro who finishes very strong just 10 seconds after me!

I figured I might as well share some of those special moments from the race…

Someone thought it would be a good idea to put us in white caps… At a certain point, we figured out that we’re wearing condoms on our heads (right)

I’m somewhere in that mess of ocean, beach, and whiteheaded swimmers (right).

The swim was definitely the toughest part of the entire race for me. Even though I have a bad IT band that makes running a painful experience, swimming is my weakest area. It’s kinda like the ol’ shirt says, “I’d be a much better triathlete is swimming was as easy as your girlfriend.” I swear, I almost died out there in the water.

Heading out from the swim to bike transitionHow does this thing work?I couldn’t find my rhythm the whole while I was out there. The few times that I did… I’d end up getting kicked by someone. I really did enjoy the whole thing though!

The bike was my favorite part (left). I love the bike! Of course, I need to figure out how to reduce my transition times. Maybe it was because I was so confused about how to use my bike (right).

My Brother and SvenMy BFF and meIn the end, I got to show off my Sven triathlete suit and my lil brother and I both received finisher medals (left). BTW, the Bullfrog eXtreme Sport that I put on earlier in the day really worked! I’m really as pasty white as it shows in the pictures. I didn’t end up with a sunburn anywhere on me. Not even my nose (which is normally looking rudolph-ish this time of year).

After the long race and time under the sun. I got to kick back with my BFF (right), my brother and his woman. Good times for the people of Los Angeles!!!

me, Jamal Anderson, Josh Ready, MonicaI’m sitting there watching TV tonight, relaxing. It’s been a great week. Gadgets everywhere. Gravity Defyer Shoes helping make a difference in the lives of people who are less fortunate… It’s been a good week. I flip it to MTV because their show Celebrity Rap Superstar is on. This show is hilarious. If you haven’t seen it, you definitely need to check it out. Our pal Perez Hilton is on there, but the best part of the whole show is Kendra. For those of you who are like me, you just can’t get enough Kendra on Girls Next Door. MTV’s Celebrity Rap Superstar will give you that extra Kendra fix for the week.

I started watching the show right in the middle, so I wasn’t sure what happened with my boy Jamal Anderson. Then I hear that he and Pedro are on the chopping block. I saw last week. Pedro sucked! There’s no way that Jamal is going home… Well, guess I was wrong. People just keep voting for Pedro. I can’t imagine that Pedro is going to make it through next week. He was horrible this week as well.

What does this have to do with gadgets? Well, I met Jamal at the Michael Strahan Celebrity Golf Tournament in New York earlier this year. He’s a great guy. And he happens to love gadgets. Oh well, Jamal is out. Pedro is in. And I’m taking my Spare Pocket to the LA Triathlon this weekend.
