I’ve seen a rash of people getting their Facebook profiles getting hacked lately. If you saved your login information on your computer, this wouldn’t happen. Whilst most people think this is unsafe, cookies and the methods used by websites to authenticate “saved” logins is much more secure than typing your password in every time (especially if you are an idiot and just type in your password left and right at every prompt – sorry friends!)
Then there is OpenDNS. Everyone should be using it! It will block half the crap sites that our sniffing passwords out there. Of course, always remember to avoid anything from fanbox (aka SPAMbox)
